Don't buy the Sushi. It's gross.

Sushi half price is the only time to go. The cute waitresses are not there anymore. Good luck getting good service.

Good food quick-service even during the lunch rush. Strongly recommend trying the clear mushroom soup it is delicious.

Alright for a sushi place considering I lived in Japan for 4 years. We ate lots of sushi there! Stick with the rolls and skip the nigiri as I did not enjoy the selection I got. The fish was lukewarm and almost slimy and I immediately regretted putting it in my mouth. The actual building has an odd odor so we don't eat in house, just get take out.

Not so Good customer service, but great sushi

AMAZING Japanese cuisine! Quite possibly the best Japanese I’ve had in North Carolina. It’s really reasonably priced for the quality of food you receive.

I don't see how people complain about the size of the sushi roll. You get to enjoy the flavor of the roll when there is less rice. Dined in on a Saturday night before the movies. This is the perfect spot to get your fix before a movie. The dinner specials are a must get since it happens to be some nights only. All I can say is get it while it's cheap.

I used to really love this place. But their schedule is not consistent, not being open when they say they will be. Ridiculous.

Delicious food, but the adult dinner plates seem to have shrunk in size. Still great service and good food tho!

Lettuce and ranch is what they call a salad! HaDeep fried sushi came out room temp and we waited 45 minutes. 6pm on a Sunday. Ridiculous

Pleasantly surprised. We wanted some sushi to eat while we were visiting Morganton. Excellent quality and the bonus was that sushi is half off select rolls on Sundays. Kids loved the corn roll.

I don't know anything about Japanese Food and this was my first time actually having sushi. I really liked everything on my plate. It was phenomenal.

Sushi is good an their hibachi is amazing! Literally the best hibachi I have ever had in my life. They have an amazing hibachi sauce not that typical squirt of soy sauce like everywhere else. The best part is when you order a scallop dish you actually get 5 full jumbo scallops. Not bay, not slices but actual scallops and seared to perfection. Atmosphere is a bit odd but who cares I’m there for the food!

Fresh sushi, made to order!

Love this place. Everything from the sushi to the tofu is amazing. Staff is always friendly. We love the small space as well gives it an original feel.

I have always had great food at this place. One of my favorites for lunch.

My family and I have been coming here for many years. Trying different Sushi restaurants is something we love to do , and Kin2Kin holds it's own with the best of them . The fish is always fresh and the Staff go out of there way to make you feel comfortable . I did fine better Sushi in Chicago @ a place called Kamehachi ( first restaurant that served sushi in Chicago been in operation over 50 years) . So for small town Morganton NC we have hit the jackpot .

The sushi was delicious! I recommend the volcano roll if you like spicy food. My brother said the brown dragon was his favorite. I will warn that they will put a whole crab with legs and all in your sushi but it is really good

We stopped by Kin2Kin to grab a quick dinner. We were seated and the waitress took our drink orders quickly. The wait for the food was average. I was with a party of 4 and everyone appeared to be satisfied with their choices. We all ordered entrees with fried rice and sweet carrots to include: vegetable, tofu, chicken, chicken and steak. They were out of cabbage so we were unable to order the appetizer that we wanted. The waitress suggested a turkey roll and it was very good. The waitress came over and asked if we wanted the checks split and we were out of there very quickly. The space feels somewhat small and a little dingy but the food, service and prices are good overall.

We ordered out and everything was very tasty! The best spot for sushi around the area we have found thus far! I posted pictures of our food even in takeout the rolls were decorated. I can’t review about the hibachi because we only ordered sushi this time around, the only reason I give 4 stars is the website issue. I posted pictures of their menu which is current for anyone looking!! We enjoyed and sure you will too!!

Decent sushi

The sushi here is great! This is a photo of the red dragon roll i got tonight. The nigiri here is good also.. especially the octopus. I have always had great service here.

Ordered sushi and the turkey egg rolls. All of it was delicious and the sushi was fresh and tasty. Really inventive sushi rolls I haven't seen on other sushi menus. We ordered take-out on a Wed. evening and they were busy. It took about 3x as long than what they said, likely because they had non-stop curbside orders. But the food was so good, we didn't mind. If you are worried about Covid-19 and ordering take-out, I saw that even the chef had a mask on.

I've only had the sushi and it is okay. The standard rolls are better than the fancy rolls,I think.

Sushi was great. Spicy tuna was actually tuna and spicy!

Good food at reasonable prices

We are kin2kin regulars. We use to come every other week if not more often than that. In the beginning we never had issues but there is a waitress who NEVER writes down your order. She will take several tables orders (drinks and food) and then come back 5 mins later to ask what you ordered. Once the food comes out it’s wrong. The food is always tasty but the last 3 times we have came, there has been a large error in our orders. We won’t dine in anymore.

I used to love this place. I ordered the sweet potato maki, which usually comes with breaded and fried sweet potato, but what I received was raw and hard sweet potato. When I told this to the waitress she just told me that it was breaded and fried and didn't offer to fix my incorrectly made order. I broke open the sushi and there was no breading, which could have at least been edible, but the sweet potato was uncooked.

Very good food and service .

The sushi was fresh and very well prepared. My son, who is not a huge sushi fan, was even impressed. The teriyaki chicken was very flavorful. It was so good, I forgot to use the shrimp sauce, which is usually a must to enhance the flavor at other places. Looking forward to returning.

Really fresh and delicious food, my favorite is the octopus salad, sewed salad and Panko salmon roll, I totally recommend this place.

I said this before but the lobster roll is the greatest I've ever had I go from town to town in different states and go to the higeshi rated sushi restaurants and ask for lobster rolls in my futile attempt to find a better roll. I also my my co-workers on the same quest with no luck....taste for yourself.

Food great, waitress exceptional, food fast. Easy in, easy out. Steak and veggies were cooked to perfection. First time here, but not the last.

Everything is great here, quality portions and prices. There Sunday and Monday sushi special cannot be beat. There teriyaki and hibachi isn’t lacking sauce like most. I also recommend getting a combo with their scallops.

We love this place. The sushi is amazing and their tofu is the best I have had. The place is small but it allows for better quality food and the wait staff is always super friendly and on point.
